2019 rules

All participants forms two team, Grizzlies and Buffaloes. For every foursome, it is one 2-player group (two players from team Grizzlies) competing against another 2-player group (two players from team Buffaloes). All players play their own balls from tee to hole. The lowest score from a 2-player group is counted as their group score. The lower group score wins the hole.

One round is divided into two phases, first phase is the first 9 holes you played and second phase is the 2nd 9 holes. It is 1 point for the first 9 holes and another 1 point for the 2nd 9 holes. Please be aware that each group may start from the different holes due to shotgun format, please start counting the 9 holes from your starting hole.

By end of first phase, the 2-player group which won more holes wins the first phase and earns 1 point for their team. If two groups tie at the end of the first phase, they tie the first phase and earn 0.5 point for both of their teams.

At the beginning of the second phase (hole 10), competition starts over from scratch (holes won in the first phase are not carried into phase 2). At the end of the second phase, follow the same rules used at the end of the first phase to determine the point(s) they earn for their teams.

Adding up the phase points a 2-player group earned, it is the group points the 2 players make for their team. Team captain will add the points from all his team’s groups to get the team points. The team has more points will be the winning team.

Playoff will be sudden death format at Hole #1. Captain will pick up two players from his team to compete against another two players picked up from competitor team. If the first playoff is tied, then each team captain will pick up another two players to play the second playoff. If the second playoff is tied again, follow the process till we have winning team.
